my route to grenoble

i am a physicist, working on computer simulation and statistical mechanics of disordered systems. my research interests include the glass transition of atomic and molecular liquids, transport properties at the nanoscale, soft matter, novel energy materials, interdisciplinary applications of statistical physics. my main research tools are classical molecular dynamics computer simulations, monte-carlo methods, optimization techniques, data analysis of huge sets of data.
i am currently a research engineer at CEA Grenoble and a staff member of the IRIG at the L_Sim (Atomistic simulation lab). i also hold a Long Term Visitor position at the Theory Group of the Laue Langevin Institute. before landing at the CEA, I have been active in distinguished research institutions, including the university of roma "la sapienza", boston university, university paris VI "pierre et marie curie", the synchrotron radiation facility in grenoble.
